“Under the Skin of the City by renowned Iranian director Rakhshan Banietemad was successfully screened on October 5, 2025 as part of the series “Iran – What Now?” at Cinematheque in Copenhagen.

In addition to the screening, an online session was held with Rakhshan Banietemad, during which she discussed her experiences in Iranian cinema and the social themes portrayed in her work.

The series runs until December 30, The film would have a second screening at 2025, and includes various talks and discussions on the social and cultural situation in Iran.
